Dear Spokes,
I am doing outreach to the arts for a company with an online project management tool in Beta called MyQuire. www.myquire.com.
MyQuire is a great way to share electronic files and information among groups. It also has: calendaring, task management and delegation, functions, chat feature. In exchange for feedback, they are looking for testers who would be open to publicity about how they're using MyQuire and a year of premium account membership and technical support assistance.
So What Would You Do With MyQuire:
From any Web browser, MyQuire lets you manage volunteer deliverables, produce an annual event, and share files, tasks and information. MyQuire creates a virtual community among your team with user profiles, real-time chat, file storage, task management, meeting coordination, messaging, and more.
--Update files: Each contributor edits changes back into one document, letting organizers see up-to-the moment changes.
---Make Files Available to Specific Groups. MyQuire allows you to define the group and reduces your time spent orienting, educating and distributing information.
---Reach Consensus Faster—Even Virtually. Whether your Board meeting needs a quorum or your committee needs to meet to make a critical decision, MyQuire can host virtual meetings (in their October release) to get your group to consensus faster.
---Let Them Attend Virtually: Committee or Board members feel “in the room” with real-time chat.
---Manage workflow/see progress: MyQuire allows you to create and assign tasks to your volunteers and cohorts. Overdue notifications let you know when you need to step in.
Folks I've talked to really like the interface of this technology and how even your most technology averse colleagues can start using all the tools in one place in a matter of minutes. Visit www.myquire.com to create an account and check it out!
Thanks for reading- I'd love to have your feedback sent my way!
Best wishes,
Rachel Medanic
